First Attempt of Women's Rhythmic Group All-around from NTNU Grabbed Silver in 2017 Universiade

The Women's rhythmic group all-around of this year's Taipei Summer Universiade was held on August 28th at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. Hsu Tzu Chi, a student from Department of Athletic Performance, participated in the rhythmic group. In the 5 Hoops event on August 27th, Chinese Taipei was ranked in second with high score. in 3 balls 2 ropes and received a silver medal with a total of 32.00. This is the first medal brought back by Taiwanese athletes in Universiade. 
5 athletes in the group received 17.050, only second to Ukraine. Although Taiwan was ranked 4th in 3 balls 2 ropes event, the total score is higher than that of Russia, North Korea and Japan, taking the second place with glory.
Ukraine clinched the gold medal with 33.55 while Russia ended in third place with 31.35. This is the first time of Taiwanese athletes compete in groups in rhythmic gymnastic and also the first medal of Chinese Taipei in this category.
