Guests of Kyushu University Visited NTNU

On June 11th 2017, Prof. Imasaka Totaro from Chemistry Department and Lecturer Imasaka Tomoko from the Department of Environmental Design of Kyushu University visited NTNU. President Wu Cheng Chih, Vice President for International Affairs Yu Kuang Chao, Dean Chen Kwunmin from the College of Science and many professors from the Department of Chemistry welcomed them and had a nice conversation.
 
Kyushu University is a Japanese national university located in Fukuoka, on the island of Kyushu. It is the 4th oldest university in Japan and one of the former Imperial Universities. It is considered one of the most prestigious universities in Japan. The history of Kyushu University can be traced by medical schools of the feudal domains built in 1867 and is the largest public university in Kyushu. It was chosen for the Global 30 university program and has been selected to the top 13 global university project. Prof. Imasaka Totaro and Lecturer Imasaka Tomoko welcomed President Wu with President Chiharu Kubo when he visited Kyushu University last year. Currently, the exchange agreement of both side is on college-level, they hope that in the future, we can work on university-level so that more students can have the opportunity to study abroad. Prof. Imasaka Totaro also invited Prof. Wu to Kyushu University this October for further discussion with President Chiharu Kubo.
