On the evening of October 7th, foreign students of NTNU gathered at hall 210 at General building for their welcome party filled with performances, delicious food and games. The party was organized by the Office of International Affairs and NTNU International Youth. It was scheduled on September 30th and postponed because of typhoon. The beach themed party was decorated with colorful balloons and picture spots. Students can feel the hospitality and kindness from NTNU, a place they will be studying for a period of time. 

 

The hosts danced as the opening, followed by a greeting from Vice President for International Affairs Liu Hsiang Lin. Liu thanked everybody for coming to this event and explained the topic Ice You means love you so much in Chinese. The hip hop club presented a wonderful show and entertained everyone  

 

Foreign students chat and met some new friends in this relaxing and happy atmosphere. They also prepared saxophone and guitar performance. The members come from different counties and they sang the classic Chinese song The Moon Represents My Heart. They choose this song because it's a popular song among Chinese learners. The fun welcome party ended with games, activities and a group photo.
