2021 Virtual Study Abroad Fair at NTNU
The Office of International Affairs at National Taiwan Normal University held the 'Virtual Study Abroad Fair” at 3:30 pm on March 17, inviting Eötvös Loránd University in Hungary, University of Burgundy in France, Aix-Marseille University in France, University of Bayreuth in Germany, and Jyväskylä University in Finland to join. More than 70 students participated in the event, asking questions about scholarships, courses, class format, work visas, etc. Representatives of the universities responded enthusiastically to their questions. It was a lovely afternoon for students and university administrators.
While the international mobility is restricted during the pandemic, NTNU invites representatives of many newly-bound partner universities that have signed new student exchange agreements with NTNU to introduce the campus life, exchange courses and other information to the students through a video conference. Students who are interested to study abroad can take this opportunity to communicate directly with the representative of partner universities.
This Virtual Study Abroad Fair is an event in the International Cultural Festival, held from March 16 to 18. However, under the influence of the pandemic, the International Cultural Festival is held online this year. It features a series of activities in which foreign students introduce the culture of their home country through live stream every day at noon. The Virtual Study Abroad Fair, which starts this year, is an excellent opportunity to know more about the partner universities of NTNU.
