Fruitful Discussion at the 25th Global Chinese Conference on Computers in Education
The 25th Global Chinese Conference on Computers in Education (GCCCE 2021) organized by The Education University of Hong Kong, Beijing Normal University, Taiwan Normal University and National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University in blended mode on 11 - 15 September 2021.
President Wu Cheng Chih attended the actual conference on September 13th and praised that it’s not easy for GCCCE to be held for 25 years. It’s known for a rigid selection process and a great number of submissions. He believes that the reimagination of computers in education can expand the power of technology application but also evaluate the result of education technology in K-12 courses.
Global Chinese Conference on Computers in Education (GCCCE) is a premier annual international forum for researchers, practitioners and policy makers in the Chinese communities for the worldwide dissemination and sharing of ideas for research in the field of Computers in Education. The conference program will comprise keynotes, paper presentations, workshops, forums, and Doctoral Student Forum.
Conference Chair Huang Ronghuai from Beijing Normal University, Mainland China thanked the effort of the member of the organization. He’s glad to receive 500 submissions this year. Prof. LOOI Chee Kit from National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore said that the 25 years of development of computer education seems normal but glorious. He’s honored to be a member of the progress and excited to the upcoming, new computer education.
Prof. CHAN Tak Wai from Central University, Taiwan recorded a video to recap the 25 years of GCCCE, including the change of global economy and politics, what future talents look like and the revelation of education.
