The Chiayi Club, a student club of Chiayi natives, said that they would help its members forward their love and care to their beloved ones by delivering chocolate to them around Christmas.

The Chiayi Club is a “must-have” student club for most colleges or universities in Taiwan. The “chocolate delivery” event is an annual event by the Chiayi Club, which was joined by National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) and approximately 80 other universities between Oct. 14 and Oct. 22.

Although delivering chocolate to beloved ones is also a part of the tradition for Valentine’s Day, NTNU Chiayi Club member Yen Wei-hsuan (顏維萱), who was in charge of coordinating this event and also a sophomore from the Department of Industrial Education, said that they would help as many students tell their beloved ones that they care.

Yen said that on-campus delivery will cost NT$30 and NT$40 for non-NTNU delivery.
