Office of Student Affairs (OSA) staff members drew public attention during the staff and faculty 1,200 meters relay this morning by dressing themselves as hula dancers.

"We do not stand a good chance to win. So we decided to draw as much attention as possible by dressing ourselves this way,” said Liu Li-na (劉麗娜), a student club instructor from OSA. “We were trying to have fun.”

The relay was the first competition for the first day of the Sports Day events. Seven teams from different offices participated in the game with six males and six females in a team. Division of Preparatory Programs for Overseas Chinese Students won the title for the game.

"I will join the game again next year,” Liu said. “It is a great chance to enjoy the fun of sports.”
