NTNU Music Festival 2009 Opened with A Costume March
The boiling costume march on April 16th opened the 1st NTNU Music Festival held by the College of Music, beginning a two-months musical feast. The College of Music was originally a part of the College of Art. This festival was also to exhibit their unique features, remarked President Gou Yih-Shun. Dean Xu of the College of Music said that he hoped this festival could overturn general public’s stereotype to the College of Music. It’s no just classical music, but provides courses of pop music, composition, etc. The opening concert on the 17th will exhibit the wide-range of abilities of its students.
