Hygiene, Counselling, and Education to Help Rebuild Damaged Areas in the 88 Flood, said Principle Guo
NTNU continues to care for the aftermath of the 88 Flood. When Principle Guo returned to Taiwan on August 19th from a cross-strait seminar on higher education and other academic visits, he immediately called a meeting with relative personnel to discuss issues in hygiene, counselling and education. The principle wished to offer academic assistance to help building up a comprehensive rebuild mechanism. “this is a long-term resistance,” said the principle. Besides recruiting student volunteers to the damaged areas, the school will also invest resources in counselling students from those areas.
