New Online Teaching Platform Launched: Moodle
In the new semester, NTNU installed a new online teaching system, and moves from BlackBoard to Moodle. The Centre of Information foresees the difficulties students might encounter with the new system, and published teaching manuals and FAQ along with the launching of Moodle. The biggest difference between the 2 systems is that Moodle is an open software, which can be modified by the Centre of Information. As the launching of the new system with the beginning of the new semester, classes, students and traffic surge in a short period of time -- there are now 283 students and 729 classes applying Moodle.
