Professor Zhang Guo-En Elected as the 13th President of NTNU
<p><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 新細明體; mso-font-kerning: 1.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB; mso-fareast-language: ZH-TW; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA" lang="EN-GB">The result for the presidential election of NTNU came out on October 23<sup>rd</sup>. After careful consideration of the 21 selection committee, Professor Zhang Guo-En, currently a professor at the Graduate Institute of Informational Education as well as the vice-president of NTNU, was chosen to be the 13<sup>th</sup> president of NTNU. The decision was based on candidates’ academic achievement and reputation, personal moral, administrative leadership, educational philosophy, and the ability to gain and make use of resources. The university will submit the result to the Department of Education by October 30<sup>th</sup> to file for a formal letter of appointment. </span></p>
