NTNU Weekly Assembly Talked about the Environment Ethic and Sustainable Development
The freshman weekly assembly was held on March 10th at the gym. Except honored the 98 semester outstanding students and the students who performed well in service lessons, the school also invited the professor Chang Tzu-chao form Graduate Institute of Environmental Education to give speech of the environment ethic and sustainable development. Professor Chang played the short clips ±2°C and the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference. He indicated that after the World War 2, every country worked hard on the economic and lead to the environmental degradation. He said that, “The Earth is we borrowed from next generation, not the previous generation passed to us.” He wanted the students to reconsider the responsibility of living on Earth.
