San Diego Alumni Scholarship Benefit Juniors
American San Diego NTNU alumni association leader Chen Sung-mei visited NTNU on November 24th. Director of the office of university relations Lin An-pang was in charge to receive. Chen Sung-mei arrived with the 500 US dollars scholarship donated from the San Diego alumni association.
The association had about 80 members, and they vote the leader in charge every year at June. The current leader Chen was from music department. The scholarship was found in 1996, by Chen Cheng-mao, the leader by the time. He collected 500000 NT dollars and used the interest to become the scholarship every year. Chen Sun-mei indicated that though the members have lived in America for years, they still concern about the development of NTNU.
