The Dream and Reality of the GAC Movie Black Ribbon
Department of Graphic Art Communication 9th film team movie “Black Ribbon” premiered on March 31st at Cheng 101. The movie was a campus romance and suspect play about a depressed teenage girl and a dreaming teenage boy. The team was made up by students in GAC department and recruit students in school to act out.
GAC film team was established from 93-year. Sophomore would be in charge every year to complete a feature film. The “Stop Over, It’s Green” shot at 2004 was awarded The Golden Harvest Awards.
Director Chiang Ting-lien indicated that the inspiration of the play came from his own daydream. The main actor, Hsu Po-wei from TAHRD, indicated the hard work with “wearing the same shirt from summer to winter”. But he felt very pleasant. GAC had sufficiently showed their creativity and what they learned in the movie.
