Did the oral presentation always made you feel nervous? The Center for Teaching and Learning Development specially invited the NTU teaching and learning development center doctor Shih Mei-lun to give a lecture of how to successfully do the oral presentation.
The modern society takes the ability of oral communication more and more seriously. The oral presentation in university is a good chance to train oneself. Therefore, to think positively of the oral presentation and take every chance as a training and challenge is very important. Don’t try to avoid it.
Dr. Shih mentioned that to give a successful oral presentation, should take the following tips. First, the first impression is very important, build a good relationship with your listeners. Second, make good practices; put the emphases in the front. Last, make good time management. Follow the tips above; the oral presentation will not be that hard. Dr. Shih indicated that the ability of the oral communication is not born with but through training and practicing.
