The Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) will launch the Center for Global Affairs and Science Engagement (GASE) on November 14, 2018. GASE is a joint initiative between MOST and National Taiwan University (NTU).

Dept. of Electrical Engineering Grabbed the Champion of IEEE IROS in Humanoid Application Challenge

The IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems, IROS was held in Madrid, Spain from October 1st to 5th. In the Humanoid Application Challenge, known as the indicator of the development of the next generation of robots, Prof. Jacky Baltes, Prof. Chen-Chien James Hsu and Prof. Wang Wei Yen from the Department of Electrical Engineering lead a team and received the champion.

2018 International Symposium on Literature and Environment in East Asia at NTNU

The 6th International Symposium on Literature and Environment in East Asia was held on October 20, 21 in the NTNU. The symposium is organized by the English Department of NTNU, ASLE Taiwan and the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures. Representatives from Kanazawa University, Osaka University, Nihon University, University of the Ryukyus, Korea University, Sungkyunkwan University, Dongguk University and Soongsil University all came to the meeting.

Cheng Pei Yi Takes Home 4 Prizes at IPA Awards

Cheng Pei Yi is a graduate student at Art Education and Art Administration of NTNU. This is her first attempt for International Photography Awards and she has received four Honorable Mention awards.
