Result of 2016 International Top University Basketball Tournament
The 2016 International Top University Basketball Tournament started a fierce completion here at NTNU. In addition to the local team, elite players from Canada, South Korea, Japan and China all can’t wait to be in the game and the women’s team is added this year. While the players are making friends through games, it’s a good oppturrunity to sharpen their skills for the Summer Universidae in 2017.

2016 International Top University Basketball Tournament in July
Last year, NTNU almost keep the tournament in Taiwan and lost by 1 point. This year, the 2016 International Top University Basketball Tournament will be held at the sports hall from July 13th to 17th. Outstanding players from Canadian, Japanese, South Korean and other universities will come for the championship and the women’s team is added to the game.

NTNU Got 118 Medals in National Intercollegiate Athletic Games
The National Intercollegiate Athletic Games hosted by National Taitung University ended on May 4th. NTNU boosts 40 gold medals, 40 silver medals and 38 copper medals, accomplishing the goal of 40 golden medals. The Universiade Taipei 2017 will be held next year and National Taitung University hand over the authority to National Taiwan University.

Taiwan Tug of War Women’s team Wins 4 gold 2 Silver
The Chinese Taipei Tug of War Women’s team grabs 4 gold and 2 silver at this year’s Tug of War International Federation’s World Indoor Championships in Volendam, Netherland. The women then teamed up with male athletes from Greater Taichung’s Chiao Tai High School and Asia University to compete in the 600kg mixed division, and confronted Basque Team and China, winning three matches in a row.
