Ronaldo from Paraguay Appreciates Taiwan Scholarship that Takes him to PhD Studies

Ronaldo Luis Rodas Jara, a senior student from the Dept. of special education, came to Taiwan with the scholarship from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The research of special education in Taiwan is the top in Asia. Ronaldo came here because he cared about the minority group, special education and potential development. Later, he was accepted by the phD program of the University of Warwick in England with his distinguished performance.

President of the University of Ottawa Visits NTNU

President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ottawa Jacques Frémont came to NTNU with Project Officer Vincent Lacroix-Cuerrier with the accompany of Officer Wu Ching Rung Department of International and Cross-strait Education. President Wu Cheng Chih, Vice President for International Affairs Yu Kuang Chao, Vice President Frank Y-H Ying, Associate Vice President Huang Chi Yo and Director Chun-Yen Chang of the Science Education Center welcomed the guests from Canada and they had an enjoyable meeting.

President of UGM from Indonesia came to NTNU

Prof. Ir. Dwikorita Karnawati, the President of Universitas Gadjah Mada came to NTNU with 19 deans and professors on April 25th. President Wu Cheng Chih, Vice President Frank Y-H Ying and many other Deans, Directors and Professors came to welcome the guest.

Foreign Students at NTNU Found Classmates from around the World

According to statics from the Ministry of Education, there are about 118,000 foreign students in the academic year of 2017, which is the highest of recent years. Students from South East Asia had an increase of 5000 this year.

NTNU Invite musicians for World University Concert

The Center for the Research & the Business Development of Asian Pop Culture is the organizer of Pop Music Interdisciplinary Development Project. The seminar, held at the Conference hall on April 20th and 21st. is about the development of pop music in Taiwan, the education of talents, various aspects of the academic and industry. Professors and musicians from Japan, America, Thailand, Indonesia are invited to sign the MOU of World University Concert and hope that the concert can serve as Universiade where talented college students can compete and exchange ideas through the competition.
