The Asia-Pacific Forum for Science Talented (APFst) forum was carried out on July 23rd at the Gongguan brand of NTNU. The topic of this forum is “problem Solving of Future Scientists” and everyone seems to enjoy the event confidently.

Shih-Yu Chorus Brings Gold from World Choir Games

Shih-Yu Chorus, made up with NTNU students and alumni, went to Sochi, Russia, from July 6 to join the Olympiad in Choir, the biennial World Choir Games. The team joined “open competition” and bagged two golds in the contemporary and folk music categories. The group came back to Taiwan on July 19th. Its conductor, Chen Sheng-chang, said that in total there are 283 teams from 76 countries. They joined the parade at Sochi before the game. Two years ago, Shih-Yu Chorus attended the World Choir Games at Busan, South Korea.

Taiwan’s Young Inventors Grabbed 7 Gold at IEYI

The 12th International Exhibition for Young Inventors (IEYI) was held at Harbin, China from July 16th to 18th. On the 18th, over 300 students and teachers from 9 countries gathered at Harbin International Convention Exhibition and Sports Center. This year, we have 29 teams from Taiwan, grabbing 7 gold, 6 silver, 12 bronze and 6 special award.

Taiwan Team Goes to Hungary For Shuttleball, Sepak Takraw and Shuttlecock.

Taiwan Team goes to Hungary for a friendly competition for Shuttleball, Sepak Takraw and Shuttlecock. The game was on June 18th to 19th .The team of Taiwan is made up with students from NTNU and other different schools. During the game, both parties showed exquisite skills, brining honor to their countries. And the result? Taiwan outdebated Hungary on shuttleball and Sepak Takraw whereas the Hungarians do better on Shuttlecock.
