International Conference on Teacher Education was held in NTNU

Commissioned by the Ministry of Education, the 3rd International Conference on Teacher Education Focusing on Teaching Materials and Methods Course was held in NTNU on Oct 23rd and 24th. Scholars from around the world gathered together and fruitful discussion was reached.

Meeting of RSIM Helps the Conservation of Music Manuscripts

The Répertoire International des Sources Musicales (RISM) workshop was held under the 2015 Taipei Conference of Collative Project on Chinese Music Resources by the Digital Centre of Music of NTNU on Oct 15th and 16th. Professionals from Germany, America, Canada, Korea, China and Hong Kong gathered together to discuss the founding of RISM in Chinese speaking area.

MOOCs at NTNU (http://moocs.ntnu.edu.tw/) is now officially onboard! Starting from November 1st, classes like “Ten Western Classic”, “Solar Power and Life” “Promote Reading in High School and Library Management” will be available online, you can browse the web and enjoy learning just one click away at any time you wish.

President of the University of Kagoshima Came to NTNU

Tsumagari Sadtoshi, the President of NTNU’s sister school, the International University of Kagoshima visited NTNU with its administrator, including Officer Nakamura Mikio and Officer Wang Shia on Oct 24th. President Chang Kuo En welcomed them in person with Dean of the Office of International Affairs Frank Y-H Ying and Director Liang Iping.

NTNU Students Bring Taiwan to the World

“Being a Youth Ambassador is representing Taiwan and now we feel that we have to be responsible to Taiwan.” This year, 5 NTNU students were selected as Youth Ambassadors and they flew to five different continents this summer promoting Taiwan to the world. Except for having discussion with foreign politician and governors, visiting non-government organizations, they showed their exceptional skills of Taekwondo and Traditional artistic in many different countries.
