BNU offers Tai Chi statue to celebrate NTNU's 67th anniversary

It's normal to see people practicing the martial arts in parks across Taipei, but now students at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) will be ale to see the elegance of Tai Chi (太極拳) moves on their way to class, thanks to a 2.5-meter-tall statue gifted to the school by Beijing Normal University (BNU) in mainland China.

National Taiwan Normal University President Chang Kuo-en (張國恩) presented today the outcome of the school's investments with research funds -- the high-end instrument center, featuring a new 600MHz Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) machine.

NTNU hosts international family policy conference

The Ministry of Education will consider holding a second conference next year on family and urban policies after the success of last weekend's conference, hosted by NTNU's Department of Human Development and Family Studies. The two-day event brought together academics, professionals, and government representatives from Taiwan and abroad to discuss some of the country's major pressing social issues.
