Leiden University Visits in Hopes of Enhancing Exchange
NTNU and Leiden University in the Netherlands have been cooperating for a number of years. On April 16th, Leiden University’s president, Carel J.J.M. Stolker, and vice president, H.W. te Beest, paid a visit to NTNU. After talks with NTNU President Kuo-en Chang, Stolker and te Beest toured the entire NTNU campus on Heping E. Road.

This summer, National Taiwan University and National Taiwan Normal University jointly hold 2015 Plus Academy Summer+ Programs. Plus Academy Summer+ programs enable students from all over the world to gain first-hand experience, college credits, and cultural exploration – all within an international setting based on academic and personal growth.

Learning from the University of British Columbia’s Example of Excellence in Academic Administration
On March 10th NTNU invited Anna Kindler, a professor at NTNU’s sister university the University of British Columbia (UBC), to lead a forum discussing school operations and share how committees operate at UBC. It is hoped that her guidance can help NTNU to further enhance the quality of academic administration.

NTNU President Leads Delegation to visit top universities in Japan
In January of 2015, NTNU President Kuo-en Chang led a delegation, including NTNU Vice-president Chih-fu Cheng, Dean of Student Affairs Shao-hsi Chang, and Dean of International Affairs Frank Ying, as well as staff from the Mandarin Training Center and Office of International Affairs, to the Kansai region of Japan to visit NTNU’s sister universities. The purpose of the visit was to further solidify the foundation for future exchange.
