NTNU Tops the Ranking in Category of Humanity, Law and Business

This year, NTNU was ranked the first in 50 universities in the category of Humanities, Law and Business in a research done by GV Monthly magazine. When it comes to academic achievement, NTNU has contributed the most research paper written in Chinese among Taiwan universities. On average, one faculty write almost 2.5 paper, which is significantly high compared to others. NTNU works closely with the industry and on average, one teacher contributes 1.2962 million of income by industry-university cooperative project, which is also the top in Taiwan.

NTNU work with National Archaeological Museum, Naples for Ancient Polychrome

The National Archaeological Museum, Naples (MANN) started a technological art project "Mann in colors" with Prof. Hsu Ho Chieh of the Department Of Design in March 2018. The research team studies ancient Greek and Roman sculptures, using multi-spectral (ultraviolet, infrared spectrometer, infrared false-color image) and chemical investigation (Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy) and other scientific identification methods to find out various color of ancient sculptures and establish the first database of ancient sculpture color.

The college of Technology and Engineering of NTNU started to promote education on Innovation and Entrepreneurship two years ago. Prof. Chieh Jen Jie of the Graduate Institute of Electrol-optical Science and Technology, graduate students Wang Yen Hsing, Lee Kuan Jie and Kuo Hung Yi founded the company ISPECT Intelligent Spectrum. They have come up with a fast, easy and accurate orchid virus detecting system that can tell you the result in 3 seconds with higher accuracy rate.

NTNU brings you to 5,000 IB Schools in the world

NTNU is proud to receive the first IB certificate for teacher education program in Taiwan. This time, the application of International Education and Mandarin Education were sent and approved. NTNU ranked 29th globally in Library and Information Management

Quacquarelli Symonds has announced the latest QS World University Rankings by Subject 2018 on February 28th. More than ever before, this year's ranking features 48 different subjects. "Classics and Ancient History" and "Library and Information Management" are added this year. In the subject of Library and Information Management, NTNU is ranked 29th globally.
