The English Vocabulary Competition Awarding Ceremony
The sixth national English Vocabulary Competition awarding ceremony was held at NTNU on October 2nd. Principal Chang Kuo-en, vice professor from Applied Electronics Technology Department Ho Hung-fa, and Wen Shih-jen legal foundation CEO Ho Neng-yu was invited to award prizes. The competition was held by Wen Shih-jen legal foundation. Ho Neng-yu indicated that the competition could help the learning of participants.

The international students welcome party was held on October 1st in front of the swimming building. Besides the free drinks and food, there was also the exciting lots drawing activity, attracted many international students to participate. The party was combined with the hottest TV program” New Soldier Training”.

NTNU Placed the 500 Best Universities Around the World
NTNU enter the 500 best universities around the world for the first time. The minster of education Wu Ching-chi indicated that NTNU paid equal attention to the research and teaching. Especially in the scientific education field was placed the 8th in the world.

Principal Chang Talked About The Four Prospects In Teacher Conference
The 99-school year, first semester teacher conference was held on September 29 morning at the main division assembly hall. Principal Chang Kuo-en gave a speech and pointed out that the school affair and department unit evaluating system work should be taken seriously. Through the evaluating process, each administrative unit could make the self-examination and the introspection.
