2009 Cross-Strait Cricket Championship Completed

Last weekend, NTNU hosted the 2009 Cross-Strait Cricket Championship, in which universities and colleges from cross-strait were invited to compete with one another. Participating schools from China included Baijing Language and Culture University, Capital College of Physical Education, Ningbo City College of Vocational Technology, Hainan University, etc.

Hygiene, Counselling, and Education to Help Rebuild Damaged Areas in the 88 Flood, said Principle Guo

NTNU continues to care for the aftermath of the 88 Flood. When Principle Guo returned to Taiwan on August 19th from a cross-strait seminar on higher education and other academic visits, he immediately called a meeting with relative personnel to discuss issues in hygiene, counselling and education.

The first group of NTNU student volunteers set of on August 18th to Xinxing Junior High School in Kaohsiung City to help rebuild this campus damaged by the typhoon and the flood.

NTNU Set Up a Working Group for Victims of 88 Flood

In order to help the typhoon-stricken areas to reestablish their campus, NTNU Vice President Chen Chiung-Hua, under the instruction given by President Guo Yih-Shun, set up a working group to support the victims of 88 Flood.
