Chancellor of Mozarteum University Salzburg Visits NTNU

Mozarteum University Salzburg’s Chancellor Prof. Elisabeth Gutjahr commenced her first ever visit to Taiwan with a series of meetings at National Taiwan Normal University. The exchanges between Chancellor Gutjahr and NTNU representatives from the Department of Fine Arts and College of Music led to further considerations of how Mozarteum University Salzburg and National Taiwan Normal University can collaborate in future artistic and musical endeavors.

NTNU Exchanged with YST to Open Up New Cooperation Opportunities across Music and Technology

Recently, teachers and students from the College of Music, National Taiwan Normal University led by Prof. Wen-Pin Hope LEE, Director of the Digital Technology Research Center of Asian Popular Music, along with Assoc. Prof. Chun-Chieh Yen from the Department of Music as the NTNU delegation, visited the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore for international exchanges, integrating their essential experiences of musical art and technological innovation. Prof. Peter Tornquist, Dean of YST, the teachers and students warmly received the NTNU delegation. In addition to the sub stantial academic exchanges, a bilateral concert was also held, making it a fruitful journey for the participants of the two colleges.

Vytautas Magnus University Deepens Partnership in Visit to NTNU

On 24 October, Vytautus Magnus University’s Rector Prof. Juozas Augutis, Vice Rector for Communication Prof. Vilma Bijeikiené, and Head of International Cooperation Mr. Vaidas Dačiola paid a visit to National Taiwan Normal University. They met with NTNU President Cheng-Chih Wu, Executive Vice President Frank Yung-Hsiang Ying, and Vice President for International Affairs Yi-De Liu. VMU and NTNU had recently signed an MOU and a student exchange agreement in May; both universities hope that the first groups of exchange students will arrive at their respective campuses in the upcoming spring semester. The partner institutions also look forward to more collaboration especially in the social sciences and humanities.

NTNU Signs Academic Cooperation MOU with MSU and UPI

The College of Education and the College of Science of our university have signed college-level Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) with the College of Education at Mahasarakham University(MSU) in Thailand and the College of Educational Sciences at the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia(UPI) in Indonesia to promote mutual academic exchanges.
