NTNU Athletes Vow to Take Home 50 Gold Medals

National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) athletes geared up and vowed for the championship of the 2008 National Intercollegiate Athletic Game (NIAG) today, when President Gou Yih-shun (郭義雄) handed a NTNU flag to Director of Physical Education and Sports Jwo Jium-chem (卓俊辰), who will lead NTNU athletes to NIAG this year.

Freshman Tsai Yi-chuan (蔡怡娟) became highlighted in the pool because she won the gold medal of the 50m butterfly and she also set a new National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) record of 29.14 seconds.

Musician and Olympic Swimmer Are NTNU's Fastest Women in the Water

Non-professional swimmer Tseng Yu-chieh (曾璵潔), a senior of Music Department, and Olympic swimmer Nieh Pin-chieh (聶品潔), a sophomore of Physical Education Department, were the two highlighted athletes by the pool, as they were the fastest women among non-professional swimmers and professional counterparts.

Physical Education Department Couple Win the Championship with Their "10 Consecutive Snapshots"

Seniors Liao Yen-bo (廖彥博) and Wang Yun-chieh (王昀婕) from the Department of Physical Education won the championship of the “Water Boy and Wonderful Girl" pageant, which was a part of the 2008 University Water Sports Day today.
