Purdue University Visits NTNU, Deepens Collaborative Spirit
Purdue University’s College of Liberal Arts and College of Engineering sent delegates to National Taiwan Normal University on 3 May, meeting with professors from NTNU’s College of Liberal Arts and College of Technology and Engineering to further develop their relationship as partner universities since last December’s official MOU signing.

Physics Professor Hung-Yi Pu Joins GMVA International Research Team to Unravel Black Hole Mysteries
In collaboration with the Academia Sinica Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics (ASIAA) and several international research teams, Assistant Professor Hung-Yi Pu of the Department of Physics at National Taiwan Normal University participated in a multinational research project. The project successfully obtained images using a new millimeter-wavelength observation to confirm for the first time ever the connection between accretion and jet formation near supermassive black holes at the center of galaxies. The results were published in the April issue of Nature, a leading international journal, helping to raise Taiwan's profile internationally.

Practicing Competency-Based and Differentiated Instruction: NTNU’s Preservice Teachers Visited Sweden for Overseas School Practicum
As the day was dawning in Uppsala, Sweden, a cohort of preservice teachers including Henry Liu(劉晉豪)、Erica Chen(陳易欣)、Susan Lee(李書嫺)、Gunter Chien(簡浩君)、Sally Jao(饒雅筑)、Andy Yeh(葉星宏) from National Taiwan Normal University braved the zero-degree weather to take a commuter bus to Almunge skola, a public comprehensive school situated at about 30 kilometers from the city center, for an in-depth education visit and practicum.
