Third Asia Pacific International Conference on Positive Behavior Support Held Online

With the support of Association for Positive Behavior Support, the third Asia Pacific International Conference on Positive Behavior Support was hosted by Department of Special Education, NTNU and College of Teacher Education. The online seminar was held on September 17 and 18, with almost 300 participants from nine countries.

One material with two functions could lead to faster memory

Researchers from National Taiwan Normal University and Kyushu University have developed a new light-emitting memory device by integrating a resistive random-access memory with a light-emitting electrochemical cell that are both based on perovskite. The results are promising for faster data storage and reading in future electronic devices and open a new avenue of applications for perovskite optoelectronics.

Joint Online Conference by NTNU and the University of Glasgow on Climate Change Initiatives

On October 1, 2021, National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) and the University of Glasgow (UOG) hosted an international conference online, inviting faculty from both institutions to deeply consider environmental education for sustainability. Specifically, the two universities discussed practical actions being implemented in Taiwan and the UK, related curriculum to be established in both schools, and measures for sharing research findings between NTNU and UOG to increase academic collaboration opportunities.

Taiwan's men's recurve bow archery team Bagged Bronze at the 2021 World Archery Championships

The 2021 World Archery Championships took place at Yankton in South Dakota. Taiwan's men's recurve bow archery team is mainly made up of NTNU alumni and students, including Coach Lee Tao Ming, Athelte Wei Chun Heng, Hung Cheng Hao are all from the Department of Athletic Performance. Wei just received silver medal from the 2020 Olympics and is now studying PhD in NTNU. He is the first NTNU trained athlete to receive a silver medal at the Olympics. Now, with Yu Guan Lin and Hung Cheng Hao and teammates, Taiwan’s men’s recurve team bagged bronze at 2021 World Archery Championships on September 25th.
