21 Little Sun Yat-Sen Celebrate the Birthday of the Father

21 elementary school students from Taipei city and county dressed up as the little Sun Yat-Sen, leaded by NTNU Lin An-Pang and Taipei county Hakka affairs Wu Ko-yi, sang the Hakka version Happy Birthday for the father of Republic of China Sun Yat-Sen to celebrate his 144-year-old birthday.

NTNU Students and Professors Step On Myanmar Land And Give Service

Myanmar Eden International Volunteer Team, a team of NTNU students filled with warm-blooded and passion, leaded by professor Yen Miao-Kuei, stepped on the land of Myanmar and gave service to the local people this summer. The volunteer team held the achievement publication meeting on November 5th, to show their learning achievement.

CD-ROMs of Holistic Education Project Given to Freshmen to Raise Awareness for General Knowledge

Thanks to the collaboration among teachers from 12 departments/graduate institutes at the NTNU, a knowledge database of holistic education, comprising 1000 entries, has been built. Now apart from taking general education courses, freshmen are also encouraged to take a knowledge quiz on these entries.

NTNU Launches an E-Portfolio System to Push for Holistic Education

In an attempt to promote the idea of holistic education and help students to expand their knowledge in liberal arts, the NTNU has launched an e-portfolio system for students to keep a record of their work and learning achievements, and has also created a knowledge database of holistic education and encouraged freshmen to take knowledge tests in the coming years.

Paraguay Culture and Education Vice-Minister Paid a Visit for Teacher Training Experience

Paraguay culture and education vice-minister paid a visit to NTNU on November 9th. Principal Chang Kuo-En, the dean of International affairs Chuang Kun-Liang, the dean of studies Wu Cheng-Chi, and teacher-training center Yu Kuang-chao received our guests. The vice-minister from Paraguay hoped to consult with NTNU for the educational teacher training and information education field experience.
