NTNU Fine Arts Students Expand Cross-Cultural and Interdisciplinary Learning in New York

Associate Professor Chung Ying Hou and Assistant Professor Ko-Ching Chao of the Department of Fine Arts at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) led students to New York from September 1 to 14 for visits to art and design schools, cultural institutions, artists’ studios, and the NTNU alumni community. Supported by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, the overseas learning program aimed to strengthen students’ English communication skills and international experience through real-world learning and academic exchange.

NTNU and Charles University Strengthen Partnership through Semiconductor and Quantum Materials Internships

Four students from the Department of Physics at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) spent a month at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University, in the Czech Republic through Taiwan’s Ministry of Education Study Abroad Internship Program. Working alongside an international research team, the students gained hands-on experience in research on the optical, electrical, and magnetic properties of emerging materials.

NTNU Chemistry Students Gain Research Experience Through the International Summer Program at the University of Osaka

Three master’s students from the Department of Chemistry at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) participated in the International Summer Program (ISP) at the University of Osaka’s Graduate School of Science from July 16 to August 27, 2026. During the six-week program, the students joined research laboratories, conducted individual research projects, and presented their findings, gaining experience in an international research environment while building on the longstanding partnership between the two universities.

NTNU Pre-Service Teachers Gain Cross-Cultural Teaching Experience in Australia

With support from Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, nine pre-service teachers from National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU), led by Professor Yi-Fen Yeh of the School of Teacher Education, traveled to the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, from August 1 to 15 for a two-week educational observation program at Emmanuel College and Josiah College.

NTNU Welcomes 44 New Faculty Members, Including 12 International Scholars

With the new academic year beginning on September 7, National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) held its New Faculty Orientation from August 12 to 13 to help newly appointed faculty members become familiar with the University’s teaching and research environment, as well as relevant resources and benefits. Organized by the Center for Teaching and Learning Development under the Office of Academic Affairs, the program welcomed 44 new faculty members as they began their teaching and research careers at NTNU.
