“Homecoming Train” Christmas Gala Brings a Global Campus Together

Foreign students experience Taiwan’s puppetry tradition
In a colorful celebration of Taiwan's rich cultural heritage, international students gathered on Thursday (June 26) to experience the intricate art of traditional glove puppetry at one of the island's premier language institutions. National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU, 臺灣師範大學), a leading educational institution in Taiwan, hosted the renowned Chuan Le Ge Puppet Troupe (全樂閣木偶劇團) at its Mandarin Training Center (國語教學中心), offering foreign students a rare opportunity to engage with an art form that dates back centuries in Taiwanese cultural history.2025.0428
NTNU Partners with TCI Co., Ltd. to Broaden Career Horizons for International Students
To help international students better understand Taiwan’s workplace environment and encourage greater participation in internships and employment opportunities, the NTNU Office of International Affairs organized a company visit to TCI Co., Ltd. on April 11. Students Connect with Amis Community in Cross-Cultural Trip to Taitung
A group of NTNU students recently traveled to the indigenous Amis village of Dulan in Taitung, Taiwan, to take part in a cultural exchange focused on sustainability and community development. Led by Professor Yi-De Liu, Director of the Office of International Affairs, the trip brought together 30 local and international students from Malaysia, Myanmar, Colombia, Taiwan, and other countries. Through workshops, site visits, and shared experiences with the Amis community, students gained insight into how indigenous traditions and sustainable practices intersect in daily life.2024.1101
