Master Class from Guitar Master Hubert Käppel

Prof. Hubert Käppel, one of the most influential guitarists in the world, came to the music department concert in the evening of October 31 to hold a unique solo recital, attracting more than 100 people to listen to the master playing. The master class was held November 1st, welcoming guitar lovers to learn from master himself. The famous Taiwanese guitarist Alfredo Show-Lee Huang serves as the interpreter.

9th Love Myanmar Club Sharing their Love in Myanmar

The ninth Love Myanmar Club volunteer members shared their experience on Oct 20th with the topic of “Volunteering with a thankful heart”. The Club took this opportunity to thank all the volunteers all these years and gave them certificates.

NTNU Students Visited MOFA

The faculty of the Center of Careers Service led students to visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on October fifth. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (MOFA) is a cabinet level policy-making body, governed under the Executive Yuan of the Republic of China. Senior executive officer Chang, Officer Tsai and Section Chief Cho prepared presentation and guidance for NTNU students to know more about the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Collaborating with U. of British Columbia on Academic Leadership Development

National Taiwan Normal University and the University of British Columbia have worked together for the program for academic leaders in higher education. The first event, the Flying Geese Camp: Academic Leadership Development Program has made its debut on September 23rd and 24th. This is the brand new event designed for new academic leaders.

Completion Ceremony of DPPOCS in 2016

In the class of 2016, there are students from 18 countries in The Division of Preparatory Programs for Overseas Chinese Students and mostly are from Malaysia, Hong Kong, Myanmar and Indonesia. Some even come from South Africa and Brazil, with an increasing number of students from Vietnam. To give them a special, multi-cultural completion ceremony, the ceremony is held outdoors and there’s another one at night. President Chang Kuo En, Deputy Minister of Overseas Community Affairs Council Tien Chiu-chin, and the Section Chief of the Ministry of Education, Liu Su Miao all sent their greetings to the students who complete their studies.
