Russian Language Course at NTNU
Russia is one of the BRIC countries and one of the world's largest economies. About 250 million people speaks Russian and now you can learn it at NTNU. College of International Studies and Social Sciences, National Taiwan Normal University, opened Russian courses for the first time since the second semester of the 2016 academic year. In the following semester, an advanced course was opened on every Thursday by Assistant Prof. Kurovskaya from Samara branch of Moscow City Pedagogical University. All students are welcomed.

Chinese Taipei Tug of War Women’s team Wins 2 Gold at 2017 European Tug of War Championships
The female team is composed of the tug of war team of National Taiwan Normal University and students from Taipei Jingmei Girls High School. They went to England for the 2017 European Tug of War Championships and brought back in the under-23 500 kg category and the women's 520 kg category as well as number 4th in 560 kg category and a silver medal in under 23 tournaments.

Guests of Taiwan Vietnam Educational Forum Visited NTNU
The educational visiting group of Taiwan Vietnam Forum, composed of Hanoi University of Law and Hanoi National University of Education and other 4 universities came to NTNU on September 19th. Vice President Sung Yao Ting, Vice President for International Affairs Yu Kuang Chao welcomed them.

Orientation of the Division of Preparatory Programs
Students of the Division of Preparatory Programs come from more than 20 countries in the world. The orientation is one of the most expected events. This year, the orientation last for three days, from September 13th to 15th. The students have to get up at 7 am and the activities last till 8:30 pm. Students are asked to dress up and not to wear slippers, sandals, shorts and jeans.
