Two Journals from NTNU are accepted by Scopus
Scopus, the world-renowned journal analysis and documentation library, organized the "Scopus and Strategy for Improving Visibility Forum" at the GIS TAIPEI TECH Convention Center on November 16th, under the arrangement of Elsevier. The awarding ceremony was held for Journals being collected from June 2014 to June 2016. Two journals from the English Department was given the award, respectively, Concentric: Studies in Linguistics and English Teaching and Learning.2016.1124
Alumnae Chiang is the First Asian Lecturer in School of Visual Arts
“There’s always chance” said Chiang Meng Chih, NTNU alumni graduated in 2009. Chiang was born in Pingtung, Taiwan. It was due to the poverty of her family that she has self-studied art since she’s a child. In 2005, she graduated in the honor of the first place from art talented class of National Pingtung Senior High School where she received 3-years full scholarship. Meng was later accepted to a BFA in Visual Communication Design from National Taiwan Normal University, as the recipient of Merit Scholarship. She actively explored to a great diversity of design and developed a new perspective on creative expression.2016.1123
Hanoi Vietnam National University visited NTNU
NTNU has had exchange activities frequently with universities in Southeast Asian countries. In addition to sharing research and education experiences, the university has also implemented the international policy of NTNU. In November 14th, the president of Vietnam National University came to NTNU with faculties. President Zhang Guoen, Dean of College of Science Chen Kun Ming, Director of the International Affairs Office of Yu Kuang Chao and Deputy Director of International Affairs Huang Chi Yu came to this meeting.2016.1115
Pennsylvania State University came visit NTNU
Pennsylvania State University, which is a sister school to the National Taiwan Normal University, came to NTNU on November 7th and was led by Vice President Wu Cheng Chi and Chang Shao Hsi.2016.1114
