Foreign students enrolled at NTNU's Mandarin Training Center made waves at this year's dragon boat races in Taipei City, earning second-place in the women's open event and fourth in men's open.

Teachers from the Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (新加坡華文教研中心) wrapped up a four-day crash course on teaching methods Thursday offered by National Taiwan Normal University's Chinese Department. The course focused on pragmatic teaching methods, assessment, and multimedia teaching materials, among other topics.

Management students win 2nd place in cross-strait branding competition

"Pancake Day," a well-known snack joint located just outside of National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU), has made more than just the day for a group of NTNU Business Management students. For their strategy to rebrand the longtime favorite eatery, the group of students received the second-place award in an annual branding competition between students from Taiwan, mainland China, and Hong Kong.

National Taiwan Normal University has been ranked number 85 in Asia -- an increase of two spots since last year -- by UK-based education ranking company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).
