Business Magnates Talked about Winning Tips at Work

With the global recession, unpaid leaves became common phenomena. In correspondence to the Job Fair on May 20th, NTNU held 6 lectures to provide graduate-to-bes a sundry of preparation they could do before entering into workplace. The first lecture was on May 7th.

NTNU Won 3 Gold Medals in Tennis

The open tournament in tennis of National Intercollegiate Athletic Game (NIAG) ended with Lin Dai-Qiao and Chen Lu-Ling from NTNU winning the mixed doubles. Overall, NTNU won 3 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 1 bronze medal in tennis, becoming the university with the most gold medals.

A Memorable Mother’s Day for Mentally Challenged Children

Discounts and carnations all over the streets reminded us the coming of Mother’s Day. In order to create an unforgettable Mother’s Day for mentally challenged children and their mothers, NTNU held a 2-day camp on May 9th and 10th. The camp was free and open to these children and their parents nation wide. Volunteers from the Department of Special Education and the Department of Civic Education and Leadership wished to assist mentally challenged kids to learn how to co-operate with others, adapt to the society, interact with others, etc., and to give the participants a warm and memorable Mother’s Day.

Arty NIAG Treated Guests with Music

National Intercollegiate Athletic Game 2009 (NIAG) opened with a festive feel. The hosting university NTNU programmed several performances, aiming to turn the NIAG an athletic game in daytime and a musical feast at night.
