Education Leaders from Taiwan and France Gather at Educational Forum

The "2024 Taiwan-France Higher Education Leaders Forum," held under the auspices of Taiwan's Ministry of Education (MOE), convened at the NTNU on March 11th and 12th. Over 60 representatives from more than 30 Taiwanese educational institutions attended.

Columbia University and NTNU Embark on New Cooperation in Teacher Education

By invitation of the Fulbright Taiwan Foundation for Academic Exchange, the Teachers College at Columbia University visited National Taiwan Normal University on 4 March. This visit helped to revive the 2014-2016 cooperation between NTNU and Columbia University by kickstarting the process to renew their previous MOU. Columbia University expressed that a major goal of its visit to Taiwan is to establish short-term and long-term cooperation in teacher education, in-service training, and licensure examinations. As Taiwan’s premier university in these areas, NTNU is a vital partner.

Leaders from 50 Universities to Gather at Taiwan-France Higher Education Leaders Forum

Over 100 leaders from 50 universities in Taiwan and France will attend the 2024 Taiwan-France Higher Education Leaders Forum, scheduled for March 11-12 at the NTNU Auditorium on the Heping Campus.

State University of New York at Fredonia Starts the New Year at NTNU

On January 2, Executive Vice President and Provost Dr. David Starrett of State University of New York at Fredonia became the first visitor to National Taiwan Normal University for 2024. SUNY-Fredonia has been in collaborations with NTNU’s Department of Taiwan Culture, Languages and Literature, and more developments are expected for this coming year.
