U.S. Educators and NTNU Professors Exchange Bilingual Education Experiences During Visit to NTNU
To increase and strengthen educational cooperation and exchanges between the United States and Taiwan, education leaders from various U.S. State Departments of Education visited National Taiwan Normal University on 5 June, coinciding with NTNU’s 101st school anniversary. The US educators shared their experiences in language education and discussed with NTNU representatives on how to create immersive bilingual learning environments within the school system.2023.0608
LMU Munich Visits NTNU
On 1 June, Ludwig Maximilian University Munich visited National Taiwan Normal University as part of its initiative to promote international educational exchange. Professor Dr. Bernd Huber, President of LMU Munich, and Professor Hans van Ess, Vice President for Research, met with NTNU President Cheng-Chih Wu, Executive Vice President Frank Ying, and Associate Vice President for International Affairs Elise Li. Professor Candida Syndikus, Director of the Graduate Institute of Art History, also joined the visitors on a tour of NTNU’s Research Center for Conservation of Cultural Relics.2023.0607
The International Young Scholar’s Seminar at the Department of Technology Application and Human Resource Development
On June 2, 2023, the Department of Technology Application and Human Resource Development at National Taiwan Normal University invited Lin Chu, a doctoral student at Indiana University Bloomington, to conduct a seminar. The seminar focused on the importance of technology education in Taiwan and shared experiences of pursuing a doctorate in the United States.2023.0606
Vietnamese Universities Visit NTNU to Increase Academic Cooperation and Exchange
National Taiwan Normal University celebrated its 101st anniversary on 5 June by inviting distinguished guests to its anniversary ceremony. Attendees included delegations from Hue University of Education (HUEdu); University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC); and the University of Danang-University of Science and Education (UD-UED). The three Vietnamese universities’ mission for this visit to Taiwan was to advance academic exchange with two of the universities signing MOUs with National Taiwan Normal University to broaden student mobility and learning.2023.0601
