2020 Special Education International Conference at NTNU to Promote Inclusion Education
Inclusion in education refers to a model wherein students with special needs spend most or all their time with non-special needs students. Since 1990s, inclusion education has become prominent in special education. In order to promote the theoretical development of inclusion education and the exchange of experience in the Asia-Pacific region, the Special Education Center of National Taiwan Normal University was commissioned by the Ministry of Education to conduct the "2020 Special Education International Conference: Inclusive Education and Career Development " from November 2 to 4. 2020 International Conference on Technological and Vocational Education at NTNU
The 2020 International Conference on Technological and Vocational Education was held by the Department of Industrial Education of NTNU on January 4th. Lin Teng Chiao, Administrative Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education, and Le Thai Hung, Dean of Faculty of Quality Management, University of Education, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Siririt Petsangsri, Director of the Department of Industrial Education of King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang and Hanief Saha Ghafur, Chairman of Education at Central Board of Nahdlatul Ulama were invited as keynote speakers. Bilingual Teachers’ Training at NTNU Given by CLIL Professionals
In order to elevate the overall English proficiency of Taiwanese, the government launched the Blueprint for Developing Taiwan into a Bilingual Nation by 2030 in 2018 and set 2019 as the first year of bilingual Taiwan. To accelerate the progress of teachers becoming bilingual teachers, National Taiwan Normal University has conducted a series of bilingual teacher tutoring and training workshops this year. The workshop “Bilingual Education: Workshop to Enhance Students’ Emergent Bilingual Status” was held recently. This workshop is about Content and Language Integrated Learning.2019.1129
