Vietnamese Universities Visit NTNU to Increase Academic Cooperation and Exchange
National Taiwan Normal University celebrated its 101st anniversary on 5 June by inviting distinguished guests to its anniversary ceremony. Attendees included delegations from Hue University of Education (HUEdu); University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC); and the University of Danang-University of Science and Education (UD-UED). The three Vietnamese universities’ mission for this visit to Taiwan was to advance academic exchange with two of the universities signing MOUs with National Taiwan Normal University to broaden student mobility and learning.2023.0509

Inaugural Visit of KTH Royal Institute of Technology
KTH Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) visited National Taiwan Normal University for the first time on 24 April. NTNU Delegation of Multiple Colleges Visits Seven Universities in Vietnam for Student Recruitment
According to statistics from the Ministry of Education, the number of Vietnamese international students studying in Taiwan has been increasing year by year and ranks first among foreign students in the past three years. As for National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU), there were a total of 1,626 international students in 2022 (12% of the total student number), with Vietnamese overseas students ranking third (153 students), following Malaysia and Hong Kong. However, in terms of foreign students (excluding overseas Chinese students) and master's and doctoral students, Vietnamese students rank first in the university. Therefore, Vietnam is a key recruiting country for NTNU.2023.0201
