Meeting of RSIM Helps the Conservation of Music Manuscripts

The Répertoire International des Sources Musicales (RISM) workshop was held under the 2015 Taipei Conference of Collative Project on Chinese Music Resources by the Digital Centre of Music of NTNU on Oct 15th and 16th. Professionals from Germany, America, Canada, Korea, China and Hong Kong gathered together to discuss the founding of RISM in Chinese speaking area.

2015 International Environmental Education Conference Was Started

The 2015 International Environmental Education Conference “Urban Environmental Education International Conference” was held by the Environmental Protection Administration (ROC) and NTNU on Oct. 5th in the Conference Hall of NTNU. Four American and Japanese scholars shared their experience of promoting urban environmental education abroad with participants. Minister without portfolio Yeh, Shin Cheng and the Deputy Director of the Environmental Protection Administration Fu Shu Keung showed up at the open ceremony. The Vice President of NTNU Sung Yao-Ting greeted everyone and said that the key of urban environmental education is to go out of the office and put those ideas into practice.

Chinese Teaching Forum Brings New Ideas into Chinese Teaching

In the trend of leaning Chinese, we are moving toward the direction of computer assisted language learning. The International Forum on Chinese Teaching in International Schools was held on September 19th. Many International School teachers joined the forum and have produced some inspiring discussions.

Science behind the medal: NTNU holds sports biomechanics conference

As the Universiade is underway in Russia, NTNU is boosting morale by bringing together experts from around the world to discuss the science behind winning gold medals. The four-day International Sports Biomechanics Seminar kicked off Sunday, covering a range of topics including technique analysis, sports equipment, computer simulations, and sports medicine.
