NTNU Grows Global Reach with Recruitment Drive in the Philippines
NTNU has intensified its efforts to attract top international talent, reporting a 14.2% increase in international student enrollment for the 2024 fall semester. This surge is largely attributed to the university's strategic promotion of English-medium instruction (EMI) courses and a broad international recruitment campaign. Promoting Taiwan’s Higher Education: Delegation Participates in the 2024 EAIE Conference in France
The European Association for International Education (EAIE) held its 2024 annual conference in Toulouse, France from September 17 to 20. National Taiwan Normal University President Cheng-Chih Wu , chairperson of the Foundation for International Cooperation in Higher Education of Taiwan (FICHET), led a delegation of more than 50 participants from 21 universities to participate in the conference. Mei-Chen Lu, Education Division Director of the Taipei Representative Office in France, along with Lih-Tien Hsu, secretary of the Education Division, welcomed the delegation and discussed opportunities for research and education cooperation in France.2024.0727
NTNU led middle school students to attend MIT AI & Education Summit
A team of Taiwan junior high school students designed the “No Waste App”, which recently stood out and won the Best Design Award at the MIT AI& Education Summit which is an international competition organized by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the U.S. This app is designed to help local farmers reduce food waste and fully demonstrates Taiwan's outstanding achievements in information technology education.2024.0722
The City of New Orleans Visits NTNU to Enhance Bilateral Cooperation
On July 18th, the Director of International Affairs for the City of New Orleans, Rosine Pema Sanga, visited National Taiwan Normal University. Accompanying her were four promising and ambitious students, recipients of the New Orleans Taiwan Young Scholar Program.
