Green University Alliance convention slated for late July
The NTNU-headed Taiwan Green University Alliance (臺灣綠色大學聯盟) held its second preparatory meeting Wednesday to plan conferences over the next year and discuss member university's websites. In the meeting, the Alliance agreed to hold its first convention in late July to push forward energy-saving, eco-freindly policies among universities.2013.0604

NTNU, University of South Carolina agree to increased sports and rec exchanges
National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) and the University of South Carolina in the United States signed an agreement Wednesday to expand cooperation in the fields of sports and recreation. The agreement was made between NTNU's College of Sports and Recreation Dean Chang Shao-hsi (張少熙) and South Carolina's College of Hospitality, Retail, and Sport Management Dean Brian Mihalik.2009.0525
Scholarship Offered by the Graduate Institute of European Cultures and Tourism
To encourage NTNU students to actively conduct researches related to European cultures and tourism, Professor Li Ping-Zi, former chairman of the French Language Center, has been donated scholarship to the graduate institute every year for outstanding students. This year, Chen Jin-Yu, a second year graduate student, and Jiang Yi-Ru, a first year graduate student, were awarded with 50 thousand dollars each. Professor Li was a NTNU alumna who went to France for further study. After her return to Taiwan, she became a professor at the English Department, NTNU.
