NTNU Being Popular Because of Sitting High in QS Ranking

National Taiwan Normal University was ranked 310th in 2016 QS World University ranking, which is partly the reason why NTNU is so popular at the University Expo. The Expo was held in Taichung from February 24th to 26th, the booth of NTNU has attracted many students along with NTUT and NTU as NTU System.

Sending Future Teachers Abroad with Grants from the Government

This year, the ministry of Education first granted the oversea educational internship program and the list was revealed in January 18th. Three projects from NTNU pass the selection and was granted 2.75 million. The destination of the projects are Canada, Shanghai and Singapore.

Urawa Girl’s High School Visit Taipei with NTNU Students

Taiwan has become the top choice of Japanese School Trip because of its location. In mid-December, Urawa Girl’s High School student arrived in Taiwan for a 4 day study tour. One of the day was planned by students of Geography Department who want to show Japanese students the charming Taipei.

Workshop on online education from PSU and NTNU

The professors and faculties of Pennsylvania State University visited NTNU on November 7th and had a lovely discussion with their counterparts. On November 14th to 16th, a three day workshop was held, focusing on-line university and digital courses.

Prof. Tomas A.Lipinski Talks about Copy Right on Campus

On November 3, Tomas A. Lipinski, Dean of the School of Information, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, came to National Taiwan Normal University and met with Vice President Wu Cheng Chi , accompanied by Wu Mei Mei, director of the Institute of Library and Information Studies. He was invited by the Institute of Education and the Institute of Library and Information Studies to give a lecture on the copyright of the physical and digital environment in campus.
