First solo Performance of Takagi Makoto in Taiwan at NTNU

Takagi Makoto was born in Kanagawa ken. He has learned piano since little and started guitar at the age of 13. He studied in Musashino Academia Musicae. In 1982, he entered the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid in Spain and studied with Jorge Ariza. After graduation with outstanding performance and received the advanced diploma of guitar playing.

ACC Volunteer in Africa Sharing Experiences

The Amitofo Care Centre (ACC) - which comprises of an administration centre, children’s dormitories, youth dormitories, preparatory school, kindergarten, library, activity centre, medical centre, vocational training centre, religious centre, CBO etc - is founded and directed by Buddhist clergy from the East with an aspiration and mission to directly rear and care for orphans of Africa within the humanitarian and educational umbrella. The main principles of ACC are based on local African culture, Chinese culture and Buddhist philosophy which are given to the orphans in need.

Welcome Party for Exchange Students by OIA

Joining an exchange program is a journey to a different world. Many NTNU students take on the challenge of going abroad, many foreign students come to NTNU to study. To promote the mutual understanding of each other, The Office of International Affairs held a welcome party for exchange students at general building.

Guests of Taiwan Vietnam Educational Forum Visited NTNU

The educational visiting group of Taiwan Vietnam Forum, composed of Hanoi University of Law and Hanoi National University of Education and other 4 universities came to NTNU on September 19th. Vice President Sung Yao Ting, Vice President for International Affairs Yu Kuang Chao welcomed them.

International Reporters of Universiade Visited NTNU

The 2017 Summer Universiade has begun in Taipei. Many NTNU students take part in the games and the stadium is one of the official venue. On August 21st, a group of International reporters visited NTNU. Vice President Wu Cheng Chih, Dean of College of Sports and Recreation, Chi Li Kang, Associate Vice President of the Office of International Affairs, Huang Chi Yo, Chairman Tan Tien-Chin of the Graduate Institute of Sport, Leisure and Hospitality, Chairman Lin Mei Chun of the Department of Physical Education and other professors welcomed the guests. Secretary Chen Tzu Show and Lin Ming Chun from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs attended the group tour as well.
