Installation Arts on Campus In Name of Freedom
Have you even noticed that the campus looks a little bit different lately? The Roman plaza becomes a pond for boats and the clock is surrounded with white spider webs. These are created by students from the Department of Fine Arts in the name of freedom and they will be on campus till the end of June. GF-EMBA Brings Creativity into the Fashion Industry of Taiwan
The EMBA in Global Fashion, focusing on nourishing the talent in branding, marketing and fashion management, held the welcome party at Grand Hotel and presented their work of fashion. Model Lin Yu Li, President Chang Kuo En, CEO Hsia Hsueh Li and Designer Huang Hsiu Chin prepared the symbolic code that represent the five ethnic groups in Taiwan.2017.0331
Linguists Prof. MacWhinney Talks to NTNU
Prof. Brian MacWhinney from Carnegie Mellon University was invited to give a speech about the limits of age differences on language learning. Brian MacWhinney is a Professor of Psychology and Modern Languages at Carnegie Mellon University, who is specializes in first and second language acquisition, psycholinguistics, and the neurological bases of language. The speech was held on March 22nd under the initiation of Aim for the Top University office. The topic is “Biological(?) Limits on Success in Second Language Learning”, discussing the difference in language of people from different age groups.2017.0322
