Christmas Party on Campus for Foreign Students

In order to enhance campus internationalization and promote cultural exchanges among international students, National Taiwan Normal University held "2017 Christmas Party - Beautiful Times, Retro Nostalgia" on the evening of December 15. It was held by Mandarin Teaching Center and the Office of International Affairs for the first time, attracting nearly a thousand foreign students flooded the auditorium.

President of Doshisha University Visits NTNU

On December 18th, the new president Takashi Matsuoka from Doshisha University came to NTNU for the first time. President Chang Kuo En welcomed him with hospitality and introduced NTNU to him, hoping to promote the academic and people exchange.

Research team introduces natural light eye tracker

A National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) research team has unveiled a natural light eye tracker that it says causes less eye fatigue and is cheaper than conventional infrared devices.

Taiwan excels at the 2017International Junior Science Olympiad

Taiwan team won 6 gold medals in the 14th International Junior Science Olympiad in the Netherlands on December 11th. Up to 2017, Taiwan has participated for 14 times and this is the 9th time being the best performing country.

Alumni from the Dept. of Geography Wins Bronze from Reimagine Education Award

Alumni of the Department of Geography, Hsu Hsiao-Ping and Hsu Ting Yu received a bronze medal of Reimagine Education Award, which was held by Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Quacquarelli Symonds on December 4th, 2017. Reimagine Education is a prestigious international competition rewarding innovative initiatives aimed at enhancing student learning outcomes & employability. It culminates in a global conference for those seeking to shape the future of education. Reimagine Education Award is known as the Oscar of Higher Education. Participation team comes from more than 1,000 top universities enterprises and research institutes.
