Viola Masters Nobuko Imai and Koji Otsuki Came to NTNU
Nobuko Imai, a Japanese classical violist with an extensive career as soloist and chamber musician, and Koji Otsuki, a professional in baroque music, came to Taiwan in their busy schedule to give lecture to NTNU students on September 26th.2017.1003
NTNU Awarded for Excellent Green University
The first general assembly and board of directors meeting of the 3rd Green University Union of Taiwan was held on September 22nd at National Chi Nan University. Director Chen Mei Yung of the Environmental Safety center was the representative of NTNU. NTNU was awarded as the excellent green university. President Chang Kuo En was appointed to be the executive director.2017.1003

Team of Lin Si Min from Dept. of Life Science Discover Buergeria Otai
Do you know that the sound made by frogs can be the clue to discover a new species? Prof. Lin Si Min with students Wang Ying Han, Hsiao Yu Wei discovered a new species of tree frog in Taiwan through sound and behavior. The result, “Acoustic differentiation and behavioral response reveals cryptic species within Buergeria treefrogs (Anura, Rhacophoridae) from Taiwan”, was published in September on PLOS ONE.2017.1001
