Prof. from Penn State University Promotes Quality Talk

To elevate and strengthen the skills and teaching quality of teachers in NTNU, the Center for Teaching and Learning Development invited Prof. Karen Murphy as the keynote speaker of EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction) workshop and she talked about the methodology of Quality Talk.

Dept. of Industrial Education went to Thailand training local teachers

To echo with the New Southbond Policy of the Ministry of Education, the Department of Industrial Education was invited by the government of Thailand to assist with training local teachers. Under the instruction of professors and graduate students of NTNU, 40 vocational teachers learned about app development and showed good results.

Pre Service Teachers Went to HKU for Exchange Traineeship

NTNU has been promoting the program of sending pre-service teachers abroad for short-term traineeship since 2014. Until 2017, NTNU has sent 54 pre-service teachers to Japan, Singapore, China, Myanmar and Canada. They can earn valuable experience by visiting other schools, know about the coursed of various countries and how they do it in classrooms, and gain a global vision as well as international mobility.

Anna Kindler Share Experience on Pluralistic Faculty Promotion

Senior Advisor International Anna Kindler was invited to be chair professor of NTNU. She gave a speech with the title of "Teaching and Educational Leadership Tenure Track at UBC: What it is and how it works from institutional and faculty perspectives" on March 1st.

Flying Geese Camp: Internationalization from the Department

The last seminar of the Flying Geese Camp: Academic Leadership Development Program this semester was held on January 5th. This seminar is targeted for the academic leaders in higher education for Internationalization.
