Ten Years of Oversea Volunteer of Love Myanmar Club

Professor of Departments of Civics and Education, Yen Miao Kuei, have organized the teacher’s camp in Myanmar every summer for ten years with Love Myanmar Club. Over the years, they have helped raised 250,000 books, 161 laptops and influenced over 1300 teachers and administrators to improve the education for the next generation of Burmese Chinese.

NTNU Students Take an Educational Visit at Vancouver, Canada

The Ministry of Education granted NTNU for the program of “Foreign Internship for College of Teacher’s training”, which is moderated by Prof. Chern Chiou Lan from English Department. Eight outstanding students from NTNU went to Vancouver for a 2 week internship, under the arrangement of University of British Columbia. Gladstone Secondary School, Prince of Wales Secondary School and University Hills Secondary School were part of the schools that offer internship.

Students from NTNU's Department of Design went home with one silver, one bronze, and four nominations from this year's Times Young Creative Awards -- the largest university student awards show for advertising in the Chinese-speaking world.
