Julia L. Wu and Her Political Circle American Dream
NTNU celebrates the 70th birthday, Julia L. Wu, an alumnae popular in Los Angeles political circle, comes back to NTNU to share with us her career as a governor in the states. She is currently working as the Trustee Emeritus, Los Angeles Community Colleges District Board; Founder and Chair, Performing Arts Foundation for Asian-Americans, and Trustee, Hollywood Arts Council. Julia said that her story can’t be told in two hours, because she has lived an amazing life. Alumni from the Southern California Association also joined her talk as audiences.2016.0606

Artist Alumnae of NTNU Invited to France
The Ministry of Culture and La Cité internationale de la bande dessinée et de l'image cooperated a program that enables Taiwanese artist to stay in the city and do their work. The “Taste of the South:Zuoying” from artist 61Chi (Liu Yi Chi) and “Every Little Thing” from Chen Pei Hsiu. The two artists will go to Angoulême, a town in France, to stay at the author’s place and create their artwork for three months.2016.0510
NTNU Chair Prof. Liu Kuo Sung Becomes Member of American Academy
The American Academy serves as a champion of scholarship, civil dialogue, and useful knowledge. As one of the country's oldest learned societies and independent policy research centers, the Academy convenes leaders from the academic, business, and government sectors to respond to the challenges facing the nation and the world. Recently, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences has announced its new members in 2016 with a total number of 213 people from 17 countries. Liu Kuo Sung is one of them. As a chair professor in NTNU and an alumnus from the Department of Fine Arts, he is the first Taiwanese member in the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.2016.0429
